The East Springfield Branch Library was built in 1932 for the City of Springfield and was the fourth branch library to be built. It houses a comprehensive browsing collection, including a large collection of contemporary adult fiction.

Printing has just become easier!
NOTE: Service begins February 5th
Mobile printing is now available at the East Springfield branch public printer, located at 21 Osborne Terrace, Springfield, MA, during library hours from your home computer, laptop or mobile device. You don’t have to be in the East Springfield branch to print but you must pick up the print job on the same day during our open hours.
There are three ways to use our mobile printing option: (available during the library’s open hours)
- Visit our online printer portal , enter your email address, upload your document or URL and click on green printer icon
- Send or forward the document as an attachment via email to is firstname.lastname@example.org
- Install the PrinterOn app for iOS or Android devices (Kindle Fire not available). Search 01103 or Springfield and select ES Branch
Stop by the East Springfield branch on the same day during our open hours to retrieve your print job. Black and white only; 15 cents a page. Consult a staff member for assistance.
Weekly Farmer’s Market
The Go Fresh Mobile Farmer’s Market brings affordable, fresh fruits and vegetables to local neighborhoods every week beginning August 7. They accept SNAP, Cash, Credit/Debit, WIC and Farmer’s Market coupons. Download the flyer for more information.
The Farmer’s Market will be held outside the East Springfield Branch Library every Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. through November 16.
Six internet computers available for use by all ages. Each session lasts 30 minutes. Children may have two sessions per day. Headphones are available on four computers. Earbuds are available at the Circulation desk for $1.
On-street parking is available on the Library side of the street.
