Beginning July 1, 2025, Massachusetts residents will experience reductions in access to statewide research databases due to the elimination of federal funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), following Executive Order 14238. You can Learn more about access at the MBLC website.

Boston Globe

While the current editions are not currently available, Boston Public Library eCard holders can get access to the Boston Globe archive, covering issues from 1872-1993.

For your general news needs, we offer access to the Springfield Republican, numerous Western Mass publications, and the New York Times.

HeritageQuest

We offer a robust set of genealogy databases, including Ancestry Library, Heritage Hub, and Fold3.

Peterson’s Test Prep
