CREATING RESUMES
Wednesday July 22 | 11 AM – 12 pM | Adults 18+

Librarian Linda Grodofsky leads a video workshop and discussion on how to make and update your resume. With tools from the Public Library Association’s Digital Skills Toolkit, and sponsorship from Grow with Google this interactive and timely workshop can help job seekers strengthen their position in the job market.

The session will include an overview of MassHire’s services for jobseekers by Konrad Rogowski, Director of Career Services.

ONLINE JOB SEARCHING

Librarian Matthew Jaquith leads a video workshop and discussion on job searching online. With tools from the Public Library Association’s Digital Skills Toolkit, and sponsorship from Grow with Google this interactive and timely workshop can help job seekers strengthen their position in the job market.

The July 29th session will include an overview of Dress for Success’ jobseeker services by a representative from that local agency.

APPLYING FOR JOBS ONLINE
Wednesday August 5 | 11 AM – 12 pM | Adults 18+

You may sign-up for individual classes or the whole series.  Please register by at least one week in advance of each class.

Participants will need access to the internet with a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Each class will include video, discussion, and a special guest speaker involved with employment and career exploration.


This series is made possible by a Libraries Lead with Digital Skills grant from the American Library Association, Public Library Association, and Grow with Google.  Virtual classes will be offered with tools provided by digitallearn.org, curated by Springfield librarians.
