Suicide Dream
A bridge lying beneath me
As I stand lonely in the wind
My shadow from the river haunts me
As I want to dive in
Sirens come through my ears
Shouts of don’t move run out of my ears
I turn around crying blood
To see a camera in my face
My mother screaming LaQuita please
My father having a sip of his beer
Telling me to go to hell spitting on the ground,
Staring at me with his red eyes
A rush of wind hit my head, back and legs
For a minute there I felt life
For a minute they’re alive
I had said to myself I want to live
My brown eyes rolled to the back of my head
My blood rushed to the top of my head
Darkness covers my vision
Water enters my soul
I cannot breathe
My heart stops beating immediately
There’s silence, frustration from above
There I lay in the river
There I lay still
