Poetry Contest 2008 Springfield City Library


Following is the complete list of the 2008 Winning Poems.
Click on a poet's name for the text of their poem, and biographical information.

The contest included adult, teen, and Spanish language divisions, and drew over 200 entries.

A printed booklet of the 2008 winning poems will be available soon in the Reference Collection at each of the Springfield Library branches. Look for the top winners on display this summer at Tower Square (part of the Family Arts Festival being presented May 17, during the Spirit of Springfield's Pancake Breakfast).
