The Springfield City Library...A Place for Readers blog has been suspended, but our website offers a wide variety of reading suggestions:

Librarian-selected booklists of fiction, nonfiction and movies

New books and media lists with new acquisitions in nonfiction, audiobooks and video

Fiction on Order lists novel purchases for the coming month and includes "librarian's picks" that highlight upcoming fiction titles of special interest -- and you can place holds for new titles by your favorite authors!

In addition, our online catalog includes user reviews -- you can even add your own! Check out our computer help sheet that shows you how!

And this summer, make sure you sign up for our Adult Summer Reading Club and share your reviews with other library users! (You get to win great prizes too!)
