Urban Gardening classes continue

Gardening classes with Springfield farmer Daniel Staub are ongoing through May at several branch library locations! All stages of backyard gardening from soil preparation and seed starting to harvesting and enjoying the fruits of your labor will be covered. Keep an eye out too for additional workshops in container gardening coming soon.

    Start new seeds in trays and various types of pots and take your starter home for spring planting. All supplies provided. Participants will also learn how to create a cold frame to help stretch the New England growing season.
