Literary Spotlight at Central Library in July

Western Mass. is rich with literary talent, and the Springfield City Library is proud to host many of the area’s recently published book authors in the return of the Literary Spotlight. Featured writers include novelists and nonfiction writers, perfect for those looking for a good summer read. From exciting thrillers and suspenseful mysteries, local history and American history, to community building and more, the authors’ books offer great variety. Following the readings will be an open mic for local poets as time allows. Contact librarian Matthew Vasquez Jaquith (413-63-6828 ext 221) for more information about the open mic including how to reserve a spot for yourself.

Refreshments and a free attendance raffle for all who attend are compliments of the Friends of the Library. This program is intended for people aged 18 years or older.
