The Springfield City Library is pleased to present the following genealogy classes in June: Janis P. Duffy is the Reference Supervisor at the Massachusetts State Archives and coordinator of the Archives Volunteer Program. She is Past President of TIARA (The Irish Ancestral Research Association). Janis has been pursuing her roots for almost 20 years and has led several research trips to Ireland and Salt Lake City. The Massachusetts Archives is located on a 4.5-acre site on Columbia Point in the Dorchester section of Boston. The building houses the Archives, the Commonwealth Museum, a branch of the Judicial Archives, the Massachusetts Historical Commission, and the State Record Center.
