Mayor Ryan discussed with the Library Commissioners the resolution of litigation and settlement of outstanding issues with the Springfield Museums Association and reviewed all the documents presented with the Memorandum of Understanding.

Memorandum of Understanding and Museum Services Agreement. Motion by Barbara Garvey and seconded by Craig Givens.

"That the Chairman of the Library Commission is authorized on behalf of the Commission, to take any and all steps necessary to execute the Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") between the City of Springfield, MA. ('City'), and the Springfield Library and Museums Association (SLMA"), and the Museum Services Agreement ("MSA") between the City and the SLMA, in substantially the same form as the draft documents attached hereto, except for clerical or editorial errors."

"That the Chairman of the Library Commission is authorized on behalf of the Commission, to take any and all steps necessary to execute the 'Central Library Lease' and 'Branch Libraries lease' between the City of Springfield, MA. ("City"), and the Springfield Library and Museums Association ("SLMA"), in substantially the same form as the draft documents attached hereto, except for clerical or editorial errors.
