Picture Scavenger Hunt Play Picture Scavenger Hunt! Find your favorite Miley characters hidden throughout the Children’s Room! The game will be available from noon to 4 pm and is appropriate for all ages. No pre-registration required.

Catch the beat! On Tuesday, Bob Bloom will bring dozens of percussion instruments for you to play in our rhythmic drum circle. Not a musician? Don't worry, Bob will show you how we all can be drummers and make music! Then on Friday, Otha Day will bring his instruments for another drumming experience. He will show you how “your heartbeat is the rhythm of your soul!”
Explore all things pizza-stories, crafts, and food! Thanks to the Liberty Branch Advisory Committee! Recommended for kids up to age 12; pre-registration is required. Habitat Happenings Ever wondered what kind of animals live by the Connecticut River? Join us for a brief intro to some of the things you’d find and help us create an artistic rendition of their habitat. Recommended for children aged 7 to 12; pre-registration is required. Groups are welcome!

Fans of American Girls books and dolls, get together to discuss the books and learn about historical events featured in the books by playing games, making crafts, and having a snack. Girls aged 8 to 12 are welcome to join the club! Space is limited, so pre-registration is required!

Let the Wild Rumpus begin! Join us for a wild time as we bring the classic children’s story "Where the Wild Things Are" to life with an afternoon of Reader’s Theater! Participants will be able to make their own Wild Thing costume, and help in the telling of the story. The afternoon will end with a grand "Wild Rumpus" parade around the library.
