BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP AT SIXTEEN ACRES

imageThird Tuesday of the month, 6 - 7 pm

We are an open book club, an informal gathering of bibliophiles interested in sharing a love of books, favorite authors, and info on book-related news and events. We meet on the third Tuesday of each month, from 6 - 7 PM, in the Community Room of the Sixteen Acres Branch Library to discuss books of interest. Titles selected may be fiction or non-fiction, any genre, high literature or low-brow; the primary criterion being a consensus of interest among the group.

Check out the Sixteen Acres Book Group Blog for reviews of book club selections and other works, including young adult and juvenile titles,  book related news, and links to reading group guides and other resources. For more information or to reserve a copy of the monthly book selection, call: Michael Bixler, 263-6858 or email sabookgroup@SpringfieldLibrary.org.

Next meeting: November 18: Discussion of China Road by Rob Gifford - part of the City Thinks program.
