Teen Central

teens

Teen Central is for teens ages 12-18 who are looking for opportunities to hang out with their peers and enjoy activities and discussions relating to their interests: anime, current issues, books, creative writing and poetry, crafts, and more. Teen Central gives teens a way to serve the Library by choosing books, music and movies for the collection and by planning and hosting programs of their own. This year there will be a chance to update the library website's Teen Page – teen ideas and help are needed!

teensTeen activities take place on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the Central Library Community Room. Come on in to find out more, have refreshments and meet teens that are already involved! For more information, call Martha at 263-6828, ext. 425 or stop by the reference desk in Rice Hall, located on the 2nd floor at the Central Library, 220 State Street. Springfield.
